Understanding the Wheel
The Wheel of the Year consists of eight sabbats—four solar events (solstices and equinoxes) and four cross-quarter days between them. Each carries unique energy for cooking and magic.
The Sabbats and Their Kitchen Magic
Yule (Winter Solstice, ~December 21)
Energy: Return of light, hope, rebirth, family
Seasonal Foods:
